Dato’ Gan Seng Biang

Dato’ Gan has over 50 years of experience in the building industry.  He started his business career as a contractor and advancing through various trades and established the construction company Pembinaan Sima Sdn Bhd in 1984 which the construction company has undertaken construction contracts from various developers such as Lam Soon Huat Developmnent Sdn Bhd (now IOI Properties Berhad), Sea Housing Corporation Sdn Bhd, See Hoy Chan Sdn Bhd, Cahaya Kota Development Sdn Bhd, Syarikat Siah Brothers Sdn Bhd, government projects, etc.

 

Dato’ Gan has also set up all the development companies within the Group undertaken development projects in various part of the country.  Dato’ Gan is responsible for the overall direction of the Group as a whole and his experience and prudent management style has lead the Group steadily to what it has today.

Ms. Andrea Gan Pik Mui

Ms. Andrea Gan is a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.  She holds a Bachelor of Art (Hons) in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Essex, England, a Master of Science in Management from City University of London and she is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

 

She was previously with KPMG Management Consulting as a Senior Consultant involved in the area of corporate restructuring acting as a financial consultant to quoted and non quoted clients for Scheme of Arrangement pursuant to Section 176 of the Companies Act of Malaysia and informal scheme of arrangement through Corporate Debt Restructuring Committee of Malaysia before leaving for England where she has attached with a property management company in the central of London.

 

Her current role in the Company is to ensure the smooth running of the companies within the groups, and corporate strategies.

Director of Companies of Sima Group

Mr. Gan Boon Kat

Mr. Gan has over 20 years of experience in the property industry. He was attached to Goldhill Realty from 1993 to 2000 as Real Estate Consultant.

 

He is currently holding the post of a Director in a family-run property development and construction business.  His responsibilities in the company includes overseeing the operations of the property and construction division, controlling all aspects of the development including planning, costing, feasibility, implementation, scheduling, award of tenders and due diligence. 

 

 He is also responsible for sourcing and evaluating business opportunities and craft action plans necessary to achieve company’s objective.

General Manager – Plantation Division

Mr. Goh Pey Seng, Larry

Mr. Goh holds the Associated Incorporated Society of Planters (A.I.S.P) Diploma and Certificate in Plantation Management from the Malaysian Institute of Management (M.I.M).

 

 

He started his illustrious career with Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) in 1968 where he served on several FELDA land development schemes. Subsequently in 1973 he joined Yule Catto Plantations Bhd where he served for 19 years in various capacities at estates in Sedenak, Rengam and Mengkibol, and became an Estate Manager in 1984 thereon.

 

Mr. Goh worked at Kulim Malaysia Bhd from 1992 until 2005. His notable achievements include the successful implementation of ISO 9002 QMS on Oil Palm Planting, Harvesting and FFB Evacuation, Field Maintenance, Oil Palm Nursery and Replanting in 1999, his promotion as a Senior Manager of Kulim’s largest property, Ladang Nam Heng in 2001, and also emerged as the winner of Kulim’s Quality Control Circle for two successive years in 2002 and 2003.

 

In 2005, Mr. Goh joined one of the most successful and reputable oil palm plantations company in Malaysia, IOI Corporation Bhd. He was the Plantation Controller for Peninsular region supervising 13 operating units, including 2 oil palm mills namely the Gomali Mill and Pukin Mill. The Gomali Mill is rated 120 metric tonnes per hour and is the industry’s largest oil palm mill in Malaysia having achieved a throughput of 455,000 metric tonnes per annum. The estates under his supervision and management totaled 28,500 hectares, including IOI’s showpiece, the Sagil Estate, which achieved a record 38.32 metric tonnes of FFB per hectare per annum in the year 2005. In IOI, he also monitored replanting works, including felling of old oil palm stands and establishment of new planting and ground covers. He was also appointed a member of IOI’s Management Committee chaired by Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Lee Shin Cheng.

 

Mr. Goh was later headhunted to join Country Heights Holdings as Group Plantations Director in 2008. He was responsible for the group’s entire plantation operations both locally and overseas in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea totaling 22,000 hectares.

Since 2009, Mr. Goh has been involved in oil palm mill construction, upgrading oil mills, setting up and implementing standard operating procedures and policies, setting up key performance indexes, and later planning for expansion of oil palm and rubber plantations in a 50,299-hectare plantation land in Johor owned by PLS Plantations Bhd. 

Mr. Larry Goh brings with him 45 years of valuable and rich experience in the oil palm industry to our Management Team.

Director – Sales and Marketing

Mr. Gan Boon Pin

Mr Gan Boon Pin has been with the Group for more than 10 years and is experienced in supervising and management of internal information technologies department and assist in marketing / tenant sourcing.
Project Director

Mr. Frank Gan Boon Han

Mr. Frank Gan has over 25 years of experience in construction industries and capable in handling matters that are under the scope of construction. He is responsible for the product design and development progress of the Company’s projects. He is also in charge of the interior design of all show units for the projects and the Company’s sales and marketing of various developments ranging from residential, commercial and industrial products.
Sr. Contract Manager

Mr Wong Yew Huei

Mr. Wong holds a Bachalor of Science Degree (Building Construction Management) from University of Liverpool. He has 8 year experiences in building management and contract administration.

 

He is currently overseeing the quantity surveying task and contract administration of the Company.

Project Manager

Ms. Wong Pui See

Ms. Wong holds a Higher National Diploma in Quantity Surveying. She started her career in quantity surveying with Sima Group since 2006. She is capable and hardworking, meticulous and active in monitoring and supervising all aspect of Quantity Surveying within Sima Group.

 

She was promoted to Contract Manager in 2017 and in charge of project known as Laguna Residences at Kelana Jaya. She is also managing follow up on other completed projects such as Parklane Commercial Hub @ Kelana Jaya, etc.
